In the garden! (Entry 2 of this week, visit the other one too!) ;)



Dear All,

Look at the picture. Use these verbs and write sentences in the present continuous! You can use a dictionary if necessary!

Water flowers/ read the newspaper/ play with dolls/ climb/ knit/ listen to the radio/ swim/ sleep/ clean the windows.

Now... that is all!

    Here are the sentences:
    The birds are singing.
    the cat is climbing.
    Paul is wathering flowers (or THE flowers?)
    Grandfather is sleeping (or THE grandfather ...?)
    Mr Green is reading the newspaper.
    Grandmother is knitting.
    Mrs. Green is listening to the radio.
    Simon is playing with something (I can't see what thing he has in his hand).
    The girls are playing with dolls (or THE dolls?, or TWO dolls?)
    The ducks are swimming.
    Mike is cleaning the windows.

    Excellent job!
    You can say The grandfather or Grandpa. It´s OK.

    We say water the flowers (because they are the flowers from the picture).
    Play with dolls.
